Endowments

Endowment funds are an ideal way to support the long-term development of the University. They ensure that the University will benefit from your generosity over many years or in perpetuity.

An endowment is a ring-fenced fund where usually only the annual interest accrued is spent on the stated purpose, ensuring that the chosen area receives annual support in perpetuity.

Depending on the scale and purpose of your donation, there are several ways in which you can support an endowment:

• Pooled endowments
• Tailored endowments
• Linking legacies with lifetime giving
