Alumni Association Representation to the University
We pride ourselves on having active and committed alumni and are especially grateful to our alumni who represent the views of former students on University committees and other bodies. The five vacancies for alumni to represent the Alumni Association at the University's General Assembly have been filled, following an election at the Alumni Association AGM on 27 March 2013. The term of office is three years and commences on 1 September 2013.

The Alumni Association is constituted to work closely with the University. Full details of its Constitution and the nomination process for membership of the University’s Board of Governors and General Assembly are available here:

Election of Members to the University General Assembly
The Alumni Association is represented by 20 members of the University's General Assembly. There are five vacancies for alumni representatives to serve on the General Assembly for a period of 3 years with effect from 1 September 2013. The deadline to apply has now passed. Details of the General Assembly can be found below.

University Board of Governors
The Alumni Association is represented by one member on the University's Board of Governors. Your Alumni Represetnative to this Board is Mr Andrew Spinoza, BA(Hons) Combined Studies 1982, who commenced his term of office from 1 September 2012 for three years. Alumni Association Advisory Board
The Alumni Association Advisory Board provides advice, support and guidance for the operation of the Association and is chaired by the Chairman of the Alumni Association. The Advisory Board is a vital connecting point for the University and its Alumni Association and is attended by a representative cross section of the alumni body.
The Advisory Board meets three-four times a year and minutes are taken at each meeting. These can be accessed by alumni who have registered on Your Manchester Online. You will need to login if you have not already, by clicking the link below:
